“Last year we had over 60 area residents attend,” Region 10 CLS Director, Eva Veitch comments. “It is a highlight for the area and provides a wealth of information.”

Lunch will be provided by Air Options. Free transportation will be provided by All Points Transit from Norwood, Redvale, and Naturita.

BeaconFest

September 18th

9:00 am – 2:00 pm

Montrose Pavilions

1800 Pavilion Drive, Montrose

Established by the Beacon Senior Newspaper, this annual event will connect local families with over 50 area businesses who specialize in senior care, services, and programs. Region 10 has partnered with VOA Senior Community Meals, App Points Transit, and Uncompaghre Volunteer Legal Aid to present information on available services offered regionally. Be sure to stop by our station to participate in the Community Conversation Surveys; this is your chance to voice your opinion about unmet needs in your community. “This valuable information will be used to develop the four year plan and determine how the Area Agency on Aging can best serve seniors,” Veitch states.

For more information about these events, please call the Region 10 office at (970) 246-2436. No RSVP necessary.
