Region 10 has been working with local government and leaders in the Town of Olathe since 2017 on a business and economic diversification strategy. Businesses and stakeholders completed a business survey and developed an economic diversification strategy plan. The plan included four strategies for development: 1-Retail Sales and Service Enhancement; 2-Business and Entrepreneur Support; 3- Economic Development Capacity Support; and 4-Community Development to increase population and business attraction. Region 10 is currently working with town and business leadership on plan implementation.
